A judge will consider the sentence he will hand a teenager who killed a Queensland father in a botched home invasion in the early hours of Boxing Day in 2016.Alexander Craig Price Kirke, 19, killed Gold Coast father Darren Pullar by running him over in an attempt to escape the Broadbeach Waters scene.Kirke pleaded guilty to manslaughter, among other offences, in the Brisbane Supreme Court on Friday.The court was told Mr Pullar bravely came to the aid of his neighbour when he heard the violent home invasion in which a cricket bat, a baseball bat and a knife were used.Mr Pullar tried to stop Kirke, who was the getaway driver, from driving away with the would-be robbers but the teenager drove right over him.Kirke, then 17, accelerated and did not slow down, the court was told.On Friday, Mr Pullar's former partner, Collette Dunn, sitting with their son, Aidan, stared Kirke down and told him to take full responsibility for his crimes.
